Played at Cathkin. Play was largely confined to midfield but Thistle forced the pace and Proudfoot gave them the lead while 2nd bottom Queens were down to 10 men. They took over after half-time and pressure eventually paid off with a deserved equaliser despite fine goalkeeping by Howden.
