teamline notes
  • Teamlines per GH, excepting Thistle's no.7.
  • We suspect that (the otherwise unheard of) Lawson at no.7 is a press mistake; our outside right of the moment is John Law. The GH is unreadable in places. No. 9 for Thistle gives trouble. We stick with John Spence as per OH, but it's not convincing.
  • OH lists William Reid at the expense of John Law.
dubious goals panel
  • The OH and JL credit Cousar with 2 of Thistle's goals, but both the the SC and DR says it was Conner who got the brace. It's possible an "aural error" is at play, given the similarity of the names. The GH is badly splodged and could be either or. Although there is no report as such in the EEN, they do say "In Conner, a Hearts cast-off, they (PT) say they have discovered a capital forward, at least he proved his worth on Saturday". The evidence points strongly to Conner, and we have gone with him.
