teamline notes
  • Thistle per EY, opposition as yet unsourced.
  • NK categorically states OH to be wrong in listing Hyslop and Paul at the expense of Goudie and Spence.
  • St Mirren players per SR reports. Salmond (Meadowside XI) and Cousar (Stevenston Thistle) were two junior trialists, positions not stated.
dubious goals panel
  • OH erroneously lists this one as a 4-1 friendly defeat, but it was clearly a Western League fixture as quoted by SC/GH/PRG. Adding to the confusion, the GH reckoned the final scoreline to be 4-2, but 4-1 is quoted by both the SC and PRG, the latter of which carries an actual match report, so we go with the majority view that 4-1 was, most likely, the final score.
attendance notes
  • 1000 (OH)
