An excellent game considering the weather. Morton scored (the ball was headed out of Willkie's hands, 20) but Gibbons equalised soon after. A defensive error by Wilson let Morton in again for a half-time lead. An OG from a scrimmage made it 2-2 before Campbell (an emergency No 9) scored from a breakaway.
