Thistle played a neat passing game and gave a good account of themselves but trailed at half-time. After the break they had a shot cleared off the line then got a deserved equaliser after “a smart dash“ by Ferguson (75) but Dundee got the winner with a header (87). The forwards were weak and wasted chances.
