In decent weather on a heavy pitch, Thistle equalised an early goal by Clyde through Ferguson but the home team scored again to make it 2-1 at half-time. A minute after the restart it was level when Clelland scored from a corner. There were chances at both ends before Gray got the winner in a hard, even game.
