notes
  • On 77 mins Davidson of Morton was injured and, blaming a Thistle defender, the crowd invaded the pitch. Fights broke out and it took some time to restore order. The ref brought the teams back out and the game was played to a conclusion - but only once the crowd had begun to disperse. Apparently 2 special trains brought over 1,000 Thistle fans to the match. Perhaps they were afraid they would miss their trains. It was Morton's 2nd bout of crowd trouble in successive home matches.
