Ferguson levelled after Linthouse took an early lead. They went ahead again but Lawson headed in a free-kick for 2-2. Both ball and goalkeeper landed in the net for 3-2 at half-time. Thistle equalised then went ahead with a sweeping move from a free-kick then a 5th made it a big win. “A very exciting game” (DC).
