An OG off Gray gave Rangers the lead (10) but Lawson equalised with “a splendid shot” (DC). Rangers went further ahead and it was 3-1 at half-time. Thistle forced the pace in the second half and Miller went close twice then Proudfoot (J) scored from the spot to make it 2-3 but eventually Rangers got their 4th (80).
