PARTICK THISTLE v HELENSBURGH – Played on Ardencaple Park last night. Playing with the wind in the first half, the Helensburgh did all the pressing, but only managed to score once. The second half was much better contested, both teams scoring two goals. Helensburgh thus won by 3 goals to 2.
