Campbell gave Thistle the lead but top of the league Leith equalised. Thistle went back in front through Paul but Leith (“playing a brilliant game” (SC)) drew level then went ahead. Thistle had a good spell but it was Leith who got their 4th. Lawson made it 3-4 but poor goalkeeping denied Thistle the draw when Leith scored.
