  • OH lists John Proudfoot and Amos McIvor at the expense of Paddy Gray and Robert Currie. The GH confirms the presence of Gray and Currie but confuses matters by listing "McIver" (in inverted commas) and not John Wilkie (the scorer).
  • A long report in the GEP says John Proudfoot was still suspended so that would appear to account for him missing.

  • The second-take for this tie, following Thistle's succesful protest. In a decision seen as petulant, Airdrie themselves protested before this game that five Thistle players were ineligible – the same grounds as the Thistle protest from the first game. The Airdrie protest was dismissed at the next SFA meeting.
