notes
  • Strangely, and somewhat annoyingly, the SR has a few differences to the HH in terms of scorers and sequence, reckoning that it was Willie Freebairn who scored the games' opening goal and that Dykehead equalized for a 1-1 HT scoreline. Both papers agree that Thistle fought back from 2-4 down in the second half. The supplier of our teamlines (HH) has the better report, and we stick with them in terms of both the sequence and that the scorer of Thistle's first was John Wilkie.
