Played last night at Inchview Park, Whiteinch, before a fair turnout of spectators. Losing the toss, the Thistle kicked off. Play at once became fast, the Thistle being most prominent. Within five minutes Freebairn scored the first goal for the Thistle. The Queen's had several tries after this, but they could not beat Robertson. From a nice run by their whole front division, White scored a goal for the Thistle. Half-time result - Partick Thistle, 2 goals; Queen's Park, 0 goals. The second half was mostly in favour of the Queen's, but they could not score. Final result:- Partick Thistle, 2 goals; Queen's Park, 0 goals.
