Played on Mossfield Park. The home team, losing the toss, kicked off, and at once made tracks for the Thistle end but were brought up by the opposing halves befor they could become dangerous. Half-time sounded without either of the teams having scored. On resuming, the Thistle at once took up the running. White and Gilchrist cleverly bringing play into the home end. McFarlane however, cleared his lines. A foul against the Thistle gave the home team a chance, but Hodge interposed. A minute later Paul scored from a pass by Stewart. The home team again brought play up to the other end, and Allan shot past. The game from this up till the finish was pretty evenly contested. Result:- Partick Thistle, 1 goal; Battlefield 0 goals.
