notes
  • The OH (by process of elimination) credits Lawrence Proudfoot with Thistle's second goal, and this is backed up by the GH. The EC, however, gives it to James Miller, but we've dismissed that report as being unreliable, due to their handling of the third goal. They credit “Hyslop” with the third, even though they don't have him in their teamline (their teamline concurs with the GH/OH albeit in a different order). For the third goal we are therefore obliged to stick with John Gilchrist as per OH/GH/SR. IH later confirmed our deduced scorers were correct.
