The Alliance match was played at Inchview Park, Whiteinch, before a fair turn out of spectators. Twenty minutes late, Paul started the game. The ball was well returned and sent past. Paul and Davie were prominent. The Thistle obtained several corners, but all were fruitless. From a combined run, Marshall scored for the King's Park. Even play followed. Half-time result:- King's Park, 1 goal; Partick Thistle, 0 goals. On resuming, the Thistle strove hard to equalise, but they could not elude McNab, who was playing a rare game for the King's Park. The King's Park next had an innings, and the game became more open. Neither side could score, although the Thistle completely hemmed in their opponents at the close. Final result:- King's Park, 1 goal; Partick Thistle, 0 goals.
