An entertaining first half saw the teams level at 1-1 at half-time. Thistle's finishing was poor and several good moves were wasted. Morton went ahead when McCorkindale's punch was fired back in on the volley but soon it was 2-2. McCorkindale's kicked clearance “spooned off his foot“ for the winner (80) (GT).
