As the score suggests, a one-sided game. Hislop opened the scoring and soon Thistle were 4-up. Paul got a 5th before half-time. He completed his hat-trick for 7-0 before Port scored twice but 2 further goals late on made for an emphatic win. Played in “wretched weather” (DA).
