Dykebar took the lead (5) but Thistle took the initiative and it was 2-1 at half-time (Ferguson then Kelly). In the second half it was open, end to end stuff and Thistle had to defend well and McCorkindale was in fine form. Johnston and Hislop (2) scored (or perhaps the other way round) for a flattering scoreline.
