“In miserable weather” (GH) and with Paul and Marshall playing for Glasgow v London, a weakened Thistle team took the lead when a shot from Ward was fisted out by the keeper to the feet of Hislop (15). Kelly made it 2-0 at half-time. Strangely, against the wind, Morton improved in the second half and got the draw. A fair result.
