It started as a midfield struggle but Renton were the better team. They opened the scoring (20) but Paul equalised (30). In the second half it was mostly Renton. Thistle defended well and McCorkindale had some tremendous saves but Renton scored two goals to end a “very enjoyable game” (GH).
