  • The NBDM reports state that Renton were 3 up before Thistle scored. As if that wasn't bad enough, reports disagree on the identity of our first scorer! NBDM says a shot by Suter hit the post and rebounded to Marshall and Buchanan and “a fine piece of breasting by the forwards carried a neat goal”. The NBDM actually names the second scorer, and they go with Bob Marshall, so we're inclined to go along with that. Horrible stuff for historians all in all.
