PARTICK THISTLE v WESTERN HIBERNIANS – These teams played a St Peter's FC Fundraiser match at Inchview, Whiteinch last night when upwards of 1,600 persons were present. The Hibs kicked-off and after 5 minutes play the Thistle, from a corner, scored the first goal. The remaining part of the first half was stubbornly contested, although no goals were scored. In the second half of the game the Thistle had, if anything, the best of the play, the back division of the strangers being greatly exercised. So effectual was the defence, however, that only another goal was lost, the Partick winning by two goals to nil.
