notes
  • This 'Powderhall' ground would later be renamed 'Heriot Cricket and Football Ground'. In November 1901, it was re-purposed by Leith Athletic who simply named it 'Logie Green' which historians came to label 'Old Logie Green'. It's not to be confused with the nearby 'Powderhall Grounds' (later renamed 'New Powderhall' then 'Powderhall Stadium'), 'Powderhall Park' or the 'Logie Green' (1889-1899) which historians came to label 'New Logie Green', all of which were distinct pitches in the area. Got it?!
