Against wind and sun, Thistle were on the back foot for a spell and took some time to settle. A fine passing move saw Marshall's effort well saved then Robertson scored. All 6 St Mirren forwards charged Duff and ball a yard into the goal but the goal was not given. The second half was evenly matched, but goalless.
