The players did their best on the frozen surface. Reserve keeper Tennant had a fine game but had to admit defeat for the opener. Suter levelled before half-time. Thistle had the best of things after half-time but the forwards wasted their chances until Maley went close twice (hitting the post once) then Suter scored again.
