A good run and shot by Suter gave Thistle the lead. Brown and Robertson also scored but it was 3-2 at half-time. There was a 15 minute stoppage as Hearts disputed Thistle's 3rd goal - even although it had been awarded by the ref. Duff had some fine saves in a rough second half but couldn't prevent Hearts' equaliser.
