“Played at Muir Park before a large crowd of spectators and resulted in an easy win for the Thistle by 5 goals to 0” (GH). A Paterson header then a goal by Beaton just before half-time put Thistle in control. Ewing Paterson and Suter finished the scoring and Duff touched the ball only once in the second half.
