In miserable weather and heavy rain, only an hour was played. The select team played well against the wind in the first half and it was 2-2 at half-time. The wind was no advantage to them after half-time and Thistle went on to score twice more for a friendly win.

DUNDEE v PARTICK. A match was played at Glasgow yesterday between a Dundee team and the Thistle, of Partick. Unfortunately, the weather was miserable, rain falling during the whole time, and the game was accordingly limited to an hour. The Dundee team played very well during the 1st half, and against a strong wind managed to hold their own, each scoring two goals. When sides were changed everything seemed in favour of Dundee, with the wind at their back, but they, however, failed to score, while the Thistle added two more goals to their credit, thus winning by two goals.
