Scott Allison |

Scott Allison was born on Thursday, 17th July, 1980, in Scotland.* He had two spells as co-caretaker at Firhill. CO-CARETAKER FIRST SPELL(Sat-06-Oct-2018 ↔ Mon-15-Oct-2018; 9 days) Along with chief executive Gerry Britton, head of the youth academy, Scott Allison, took charge of the team after the sacking of Alan Archibald in October, 2018. Allison spoke impressively and seemed like a strong character to have around. In their single game against Dundee United, the duo were up against debutant Robbie Neilson in the opposing dugout at Firhill, and narrowly lost by 2 to 1.
Said Gerry in the aftermath: “We have identified a number of strong candidates and we would like to hope, all going well, in an ideal world we would have a new manager in the dugout for next Saturday.” This came to be, in the shape of Gary Caldwell, just two days later. CO-CARETAKER SECOND SPELL(Wed-18-Sep-2019 ↔ Mon-23-Sep-2019; 5 days) Having co-managed as caretaker before Gary Caldwell's appointment, Allison was back in a similar role less than 12 months later after Caldwell's sacking. Inadvertently, Thistle harked back to the days of the committee in this interim period, going for the multiple man management approach, incorporating the chief executive (Gerry Britton), the head of youth development (Scott Allison) and the centre forward (Kenny Miller).
Subconsciously or not, this ambitious new template seemed to inform the next three-man management team of Ian McCall assisted by Alan Archibald & Neil Scally. Thistle remain the only club managed by Scott.
