Bio Extra

Not the most high profile signing made by John Lambie, but a very important one nevertheless. Arrived from Mansfield Town half way through the 91/92 season, and soon made the right full-back slot his own, playing in the side that clinched promotion to the Premier league. Was still at the club the following pre-season but was in dispute with the club and didn't re-sign and therefore missed out on the opportunity to play in the top flight with Thistle. After leaving Firhill he had spells with Clydebank and Meadowbank. Went on to manage Highland League side Deveronvale.
