 Lyle James Alfred Taylor was born on Thursday, 29th March, 1990, in Greenwich, London. The 6' 2 (11st 11lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Alan Archibald's Thistle on Monday, 30th December, 2013, from his parent club, Sheffield United. Aged 23, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 1st January, 2014, in a 1-0 defeat away to Celtic in the SPFL Premiership. Lyle scored his first goal for Thistle on Sunday, 5th January, 2014, in a 2-0 win away to Heart of Midlothian in the SPFL Premiership. He scored the last of his 11 goals on Saturday, 11th April, 2015, in a 2-0 win at home to Motherwell in the SPFL Premiership. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 23rd May, 2015, in a 0-0 draw away to Motherwell in the SPFL Premiership, having appeared as a Jag on 36 occasions.
