 Lucas-Jordan Jeremiah Akins was born on Saturday, 25th February, 1989, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The 6' 1 (12st 8lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Ian McCall's Thistle on Friday, 23rd January, 2009, from his parent club, Hamilton Academical. Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 24th January, 2009, in a 2-2 draw away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division. Lucas scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 18th April, 2009, in a 1-0 win away to Greenock Morton in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 25th April, 2009, in a 1-0 win at home to Livingston in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 9 occasions. At August, 2022, Lucas's club-list included Huddersfield Town, Northwich Victoria, Hamilton Academical, Partick Thistle, Tranmere Rovers, Stevenage, Burton Albion and Mansfield Town. |
