Leigh Michael Hinds was born on Thursday, 17th August, 1978, in Beckenham, London. The 5' 10 (12st 1lbs) forward signed for Derek Whyte & Gerry Britton's Thistle on Saturday, 31st July, 2004, having most recently been with Aberdeen. Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 7th August, 2004, in a 2-1 defeat away to Clyde in the SFL First Division. Leigh scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 14th August, 2004, in a 3-2 win at home to Airdrie United in the SFL First Division. He scored the last of his 7 goals on Saturday, 30th April, 2005, in a 1-0 win away to Airdrie United in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 7th May, 2005, in a 1-1 draw at home to Hamilton Academical in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 40 occasions. Leigh's club-list included Wimbledon, Clyde, Aberdeen, Partick Thistle and Stranraer. |
