notes
  • Partick Thistle (relegated) and Cove Rangers (champions) were the new participants.
  • 3 pts for a win, 1 pt for a draw. Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Goal difference; 3) Goals scored; 4) Head-to head points; 5) Head-to-head goal difference; 6) Play-off (only for deciding promotion, play-off participation and relegation).
  • Table per SPFL, data integrity verified by the Thistle Archive.
  • Abbreviations (where necessary): P = Promoted; PPOL = Promotion play-offs loser; RPOW = Relegation play-offs winner; R = Relegated.
  • Due to the coronavirus pandemic and a late start, a shortened campaign of 27 games had been agreed in advance, but this had to be reviewed due to a 10 week suspension of play between January and March, with clubs having played around a dozen or so games. Before play resumed, it was resolved that, after 18 games had been played, the League would split into two groups of five, after which no side could fall below 5th or rise above 6th.
  • Thistle's nine cancelled fixtures were: 13-Mar-2021 Airdrieonians [h]; 20-Mar-2021 Cove Rangers [a]; 27-Mar-2021 Falkirk [h]; 03-Apr-2021 Clyde [a]; 10-Apr-2021 Peterhead [h]; 17-Apr-2021 Dumbarton [h]; 20-Apr-2021 Forfar Athletic [a]; 24-Apr-2021 Montrose [a]; 01-May-2021 East Fife [h].
  • In stark contrast to last season, Thistle's 50% (11/22) clean-sheet ratio matched the club-record (22/44) set by John Lambie's promotion-winning side of 1991-92.
  • Top scorers.
  • Joint-best defence.
  • Despite finishing in the bottom half, East Fife registered the best home record in the League.
