notes
  • Promoted Ross County (champions) and Airdrie United (play-offs runners-up) were the new participants.
  • 3 pts for a win, 1 pt for a draw. Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Goal difference; 3) Goals scored.
  • Table per John Litster, data integrity verified by the Thistle Archive.
  • Abbreviations (where necessary): P = Promoted; DEM = Demoted to SFL Third Division; RPOW = Relegation play-offs winner; R = Relegated.
  • Airdrie United finished this season as runners-up in the 4 team play-offs competition and would normally have been relegated as a result. However, the demotion of Livingston, from the First to the Third Division, was enough to ensure Airdrie's survival. This is the second season in a row in which Airdrie have had a succesful outcome in the Play-Offs despite finishing as runners-up!
