  • Relegated Clydebank and Hamilton Academical, together with promoted Meadowbank Thistle (champions) and Raith Rovers (runners-up) were the new participants.
  • 2 pts for a win, 1 pt for a draw. Rules for classification: 1) Points; 2) Goal difference; 3) Goals scored.
  • Table per John Litster, data integrity verified by the Thistle Archive.
  • Abbreviations (where necessary): P = Promoted; R = Relegated.
  • Tiers 1 & 2 were to revert back to 10-14 for next season so there was 3 down and 1 up between Tier 1 & 2.
  • Only 1 up from Tier 2 - for the first time since Alloa Athletic were first to be automatically promoted away back in 1921-22! Poor Meadowbank…
