 Lawson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender appeared for Thistle in August, 1906, as a trialist, whilst a Renfrew Victoria player. He made his one and only appearance on Monday, 27th August, 1906, in a 3-2 friendly win away to Benburb. There were no goals for Lawson in his only game for the club. His club-list included Renfrew Victoria and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Lawson died. *
