Bio Extra

Made his debut for Hibs while just 16 but it was as a Hamilton player under the management of John Lambie that he began to emerge as an accomplished defender. He continued to be admired by Lambie even after the manager swapped life at Douglas Park for Firhill and the only surprise was that it took until 1994 Before he became a Thistle player. Despite turning in solid consistent performances for Thistle at right back he was never truly accepted by the Thistle fans.
