![]() Kevin George McKee was born on Friday, 10th June, 1966, in Edinburgh. The 5' 8 (11st 11lbs) defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Saturday, 10th July, 1993, having most recently been with Hamilton Academical. Aged 27, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 27th July, 1993, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Derry City. There were no goals for Kevin during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 16th April, 1996, in a 1-1 draw at home to Aberdeen in the SFL Premier Division, having appeared as a Jag on 63 occasions. Kevin's club-list included Hibernian, Hamilton Academical, Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir and Whitburn Junior. |
![]() Made his debut for Hibs while just 16 but it was as a Hamilton player under the management of John Lambie that he began to emerge as an accomplished defender. He continued to be admired by Lambie even after the manager swapped life at Douglas Park for Firhill and the only surprise was that it took until 1994 Before he became a Thistle player. Despite turning in solid consistent performances for Thistle at right back he was never truly accepted by the Thistle fans. |
