 Kevin McGowne was born on Tuesday, 16th December, 1969, in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire. The 6' 0 (12st 3lbs) defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 17th January, 2003, having most recently been with Dundee United. Aged 33, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 28th January, 2003, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Livingston in the Scottish Premier League. There were no goals for Kevin during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 24th May, 2003, in a 3-2 win away to Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League, having appeared as a Jag on 7 occasions. Kevin's club-list included Hurlford United, St Mirren, St Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Dundee United, Partick Thistle and Montrose. |
