Kevin Budinauckas was born on Monday, 16th September, 1974, in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.

The 5' 10 (11st 0lbs) goalkeeper signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Monday, 10th August, 1992, having most recently been with Armadale Thistle.

Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 30th July, 1994, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Derry City.

In doing so, Kevin joined the goalies' clean-sheet debutant's club.

He registered the last of his 17 clean-sheets on Wednesday, 26th March, 2003, in a 4-0 friendly win away to Montrose.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 17th May, 2003, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League, having appeared as a Jag on 51 occasions.

Kevin's club-list included Armadale Thistle, Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir, Baillieston Juniors, Clyde, Brechin City, Wishaw, Pollok, Stranraer and Larkhall Thistle.

Bio Extra

Kevin has had a few spells at Firhill and second time round signed in the summer of 1999 initially as back-up to Kenny Arthur. A finger injury to Kenny in the very first game of the season handed Kevin an opportunity to finally make his Thistle first team debut (during his previous spell at Firhill he was unable to make the step up into the first team) and he made full use of his opportunity. He went on to win the Player of the Year award at the end of the season, and promptly left for Clyde who offered him a better contract, before returning to Firhill once again to battle with Kenny for the first team jersey.
