Kenneth John Fitzpatrick was born on Wednesday, 14th August, 1957, in Glasgow. The 5' 11 (11st 2lbs) midfielder signed for Bertie Auld's Thistle on Tuesday, 8th July, 1975, having most recently been with Manchester United. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 27th September, 1975, in a 2-1 win at home to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Kenny during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 17th April, 1976, in a 2-0 defeat away to East Fife in the Spring Cup, having appeared as a Jag on 10 occasions. Kenny's club-list included Manchester United, Partick Thistle, East Stirlingshire, Saltcoats Victoria and Tranent Juniors. |

Championship confirmed. Thistle, “a team of poise and power” (GH) comfortably disposed of Dunfermline. A soaring header by Joe Craig gave them the lead (24) then Rooney tapped a free-kick to Somner who rifled it home (30). Craig hooked home a Houston corner (80). |
