Bio Extra

In his teens, this centre half played with Celtic at U-20 level, before signing for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Summer of 2017. In January 2019, Josh was sent on a six month loan to Derry City and, shortly after returning to his parent club, it was announced that he'd signed a permanent deal at promotion-seeking Aidrieonians, where he played the most regular football of his career to date, racking up 68 competitive appearances over three seasons at the Excelsior. He left for Dublin in July 2022 to sign for Bohemians, but his stay at Dalymount Park was cut short in February 2023, having made just five starts for the Gypsies in league action. In his trial game for Thistle in early July 2023, Josh wore the #5 shirt and got the full 90 minutes of a 2-1 pre-season friendly win at Kelty Hearts. He signed a two-year deal with League One Cove Rangers a couple of weeks later.
