![]() Joseph Baker was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for Thistle on Wednesday, 6th April, 1898, having most recently been with Chryston Athletic. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 30th April, 1898, in a 2-0 friendly defeat away to Ayr Parkhouse. There were no known goals for Joseph during his spell with Thistle. He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 17th September, 1898, in a 6-1 defeat away to Queen's Park in the Glasgow Cup, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 6 occasions. His club-list included Chryston Athletic and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Joseph died. *
