 Joseph Donnelly MacKenzie Gillespie was born on Friday, 31st January 2003, in Paisley, Renfrewshire. The midfielder joined Ian McCall's Thistle for a trial period in the summer of 2021, having most recently done likewise with Partick Thistle U-18. Aged 18, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 3rd July, 2021, in a 2-1 friendly win away to East Kilbride. There were no goals for Jojo in his one-off game for Thistle. At August, 2025, his club-list included Johnstone Burgh, Partick Thistle, Renfrew and Irvine Meadow XI. |
 This young Johnstone Burgh midfielder trained with the Thistle Academy for a short spell in 2021, and got a run out as a trialist for the last quarter of Thistle's pre-season friendly win at K-Park on 3rd July, Jags getting the better of East Kilbride by 2 goals to 1. In Decmeber 2023, after a few personally succesful seasons at Johnstone Burgh, Jojo signed for 7th tier Renfrew, who were chasing promotion from the West of Scotland First Division. He netted a brace on a debut, the 'Frew defeating Rutherglen Glencairn by 4 goals to 2. |
