Bio Extra

Signed from Drumchapel Amateurs in 1984 at a time when Thistle fans were used to seeing players going through the motions with little effort. The commitment shown by John Workman meant that he was a popular player; his tremendous enthusiasm for the game overcame his limited technique, and many people were very disappointed to see him leave in 1989. Moved to Stranraer before signing for East Stirling.
