John Thomson

● John Thomson, 1986 (SD) John Thomson was born on Thursday, 11th January, 1968, in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. The forward signed for Billy Lamont's Thistle on Saturday, 9th January, 1988, having most recently been with Albion Rovers. Aged 20, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 16th April, 1988, in a 1-0 defeat away to Forfar Athletic in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for John in his one-off appearance for Thistle. John's club-list included Bargeddie Amateurs, Albion Rovers and Partick Thistle.

Bio Extra

Young midfielder who signed from Albion Rovers towards the end of 87/88. He played in a few reserve games, and played in one first team game against Forfar at Station Park. At the end of the season he was released.
