![]() John Pearson was born on Friday, 22nd January, 1892, in Arbroath, Angus. The 5' 10 defender temporarily transferred to George Easton's Thistle on Friday, 13th September, 1918, from his parent club, Tottenham Hotspur. Aged 26, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th September, 1918, in a 2-0 defeat away to Rangers in the Scottish Football League. There were no goals for John during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 21st December, 1918, in a 1-1 draw away to Dumbarton in the Scottish Football League, having appeared as a Jag on 6 occasions. His club-list included Arbroath Fairfield, Arbroath, Tottenham Hotspur, Partick Thistle and Luton Town. John died on Tuesday, 13th April, 1937, in Arbroath, Angus, aged 45.
