John Paul McBride was born on Tuesday, 28th November, 1978, in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

The 5' 10 (10st 2lbs) midfielder signed for Gerry Collins's Thistle on Wednesday, 18th June, 2003, having most recently been with Derry City.
